Defines the complex technical platforms utilizing architectural modeling principles as a part of an IT architecture framework. Ensures coherence across all aspects of the IT architecture framework and underlying taxonomies. Works closely with IT leaders to apply IT strategy to medium and long-term architecture vision. Responsible for alignment of architecture prioritization to corporate IT strategic initiatives. Provides guidance and direction to IT personnel regarding architectural direction and initiatives. Responsible for linkage between enterprises planning and architecture current and future state visions via technology road maps.Oversees all activities related to research, technical requirements, modeling, visualization and communication of IT technology solutions across projects and technology spaces. Leads governance of technology and application taxonomies, architecture standards, methodologies, processes and practices. Reviews and communicates decisions and Enterprise Architectural direction to Senior IT Leadership. Measures architectural governance and business value via key metrics to ensure consistent progress against performance goals. Accountable for the effective application of enterprise architecture standards, classifications, and design patterns to drive enterprise solutions. Champions common technology and application standards to foster reuse. Provide subject matter expertise across technology/functions to drive implementation of technology strategy and roadmap direction.
Requires Oracle EBS Functional knowledge, Supply Chain Planning & Management (Demantra, ASCP) and a significant managerial and budgetary experience, required. Deep understanding of architectural frameworks and methodologies. Broad business knowledge required and extensive IT experience in system design, application development and/or infrastructure administration leadership across multiple enterprise program implementations. Experience providing strategic consultation to customers in defining or designing business processes, functions and organizational structures, as well as in researching, identifying technologies based on customer requirements. Expertise participating in enterprise architecture development, including business architecture, information architecture, application portfolio and technical architecture and can plan, coordinate, and implement technology improvements, create architecture policies and standards. Experienced in creating and maintaining applications architecture designs using current tools and techniques and understands the relationships between the software elements and the effects of efficient design. Understands in-depth Distributed Systems Design. Can guide others in evaluating differing design options. In depth understanding of the process of research and analysis and can identify the shortcomings of optional solutions. College, university, or equivalent Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor degree required.
